On February 26, unionized truck drivers started to protest at Port Metro Vancouver in Canada over long wait times and low rates.
We looked into vessels’ berth times at
the port to see if the protests have had an impact on port performance.
The average berth time
fluctuated from February 12 through March 1 and the average berth time at the
start of the protests was higher than the two-week average.

average berth times at Port Metro
Vancouver leading up to the protests.
